- I am thankful for having an understanding group who can talk things out. This last take home part of the exam we had was not too hard, but they were able to get it done. I felt so useless. But next time it will be better.
- For Email. it is such a useful development in communication. You can contact people, and thank others thru it.
- my family for being so understanding.
- My Dayton friends - I love talking to them. They are always able to change my mood. And it's nice to be there for others.
- Other Bloggers. Like Melissa over at Design Eat Repeat. She made these awesome calendars. i have been on top of everything now using her calendar on a monthly basis.
The twists and turns of an unique life.

Stupid Boy.
So I, like any other
college student, am on Facebook. And on
the side of Facebook they have those lovely little ads that say so and so is
using a certain a certain app, or likes a certain product. Lately one ad in particular has been showing
up. I have modified it to respect the
boy’s privacy. As you will be able to
tell if you are familiar with the product why I am so annoyed when I see it.
He has been using Zoosk
(click here for the link to the Zoosk website) lately, or so I have derived due
to the ad constantly popping up. And
they pop up when someone recently likes them.
And well. He is my only friend
who has ‘liked’ said product. And it has
only recently been showing. Aka after he
broke up with me. (if you want the story of how he broke up with me, click here)
So after seriously debating asking him to change his security settings, I
figured out you can hide certain ads.
And I disabled the Zoosk one. When
you click on the disable button, there is a survey that shows, this one in
fact:
And you can see the
last few words I typed. Well. That was the first thing I actively did that
was semi-childish about the breakup.
Which is not that large of a childish action because it is probably anonymous
and never will be read. But this is the
whole paragraph I wrote to whomever reads the other reasons as to why I
unsubscribed to that ad:
I do not wish to see that my ex boyfriend who broke up with me because he is "too busy" is suddenly using this dating app, zoosk. And having to see he is using it all the time (it is usually the ad that pops up when I am doing something on facebook) is most upsetting. Did I mention he broke up with me by changing his facebook status to single without talking to me first? oh, I didn't? well. There we go. So I don't mind seeing other people using it. I just do not wish to see that The Boy is using it [facebook username: I wrote his username here]. So this is why I wish not to see this ad, my bad, sponsored story about him.
So this is my ranting
about the ridiculousness that is this stupid boy. Thank you for taking the time to read
this. And I hope you found it mildly
amusing or something positive.

It is Wednesday.
So Now we have a president selected for the next four years. It is Obama again.
I don't express my political views.
But Let me say this, I am so very very very happy that there will no longer be any more political ads!
hurray!
No more political tv commercials, no need to switch channels on the radio when they start playing (because they won't play), and no more phone calls!
So super excited.
Additionally: My friend Emma (I have mentioned her before, she is my friend from high school), was super surprised because she just figured out that I follow her on tumblr. which I do have a tumblr. Here it is. If you wanna know whats up. But I just repost things. And sometimes send my instagram pics there. Nothing terribly exciting.
But She texted me today mildly freaking out that I follow her on tumblr. Which I didn't know it was common courtesy to tell someone you're following them when you begin to follow them on a social media. I thought the social media did that for me. lol.
So that was amusing. She keeps not accepting this fact. but it is what it is.
Another Additional thing:
I am not handling my depression well at all right now. I don't know how to. I'm sorry. If you're reading this, and you know this is meant for you, I'm sorry to disappoint you so much.

To whom it may concern:
Sorry I have been Missing. Life kinda took a turn for the worse. So In the next few posts I'll be telling you the saga of what has happened. And if you don't want to read them, that is completely fine with me. I need to type it all out. I think it will help me process everything. So there we go.

Shit, Sex, Farts, Cops, Cars, Booze
the title for this post is basically what this past weekend was about for me. :)
Let me explain what some of this means. :)
Farts - There was a girl, Caroline who is a younger girl in Phi Rho. She is super nice and friendly. We were going around and saying different words that we thought were so funny when you hear them. like penis...though not so much. but shaft and penetration still are. :) yay! lol. But Caroline thought fart is a funny word. Which the way she says fart is so funny. So it was funny to hear her keep saying fart. along with when farting actually occurred over the weekend. That always got a lot of giggles.
Cars - We rode around a bit. But they relate to the cops topic too... but we went to Mara's Bosses' house and hung out a bit there while we took care of the two dogs and three cats. they were just so cute!!!! I loved this one cat, i could just hold him forever.... if he wasn't so shy. the one dog always tried to bite your feet too. that was annoying. and scary at the time. Not a big fan of animals biting my feet.
you can see (if you tilt your head sideways) one of the dogs, marley, watching tv. It's tramp (from lady and the tramp) singing on the TV. :) it was just so cute I couldn't not take a picture! Just adorable
Cops - On Saturday Melissa (kristen's roommate, and my friend :) ) lent one of her housemate's her car to go to the drug store to pick up a prescription. Turns out when she was coming home she was about to turn left, and another car came around a left curve and scraped off the license plate and a bit of the bumper.
there's the pic we sent to her dad. It's basically fine. She ended up going to some auto shop and they had her pay three dollars for a washer and bolts and screwing the license plate back in. The car ripped the heads off the screw's. so the people also drilled new holes so that it stayed in place. :)
On that, we called the cops because initially it was thought that someone hit and run in the drug stores parking lot. so the Dayton Cops came, but because we realized it happened on campus, they referred us to the Dayton cops. But they tend to be dicks. So after asking about how to handle the situation with the cop, because there was no actual real damage done, they decided not to file a report.

Cops part two - Yesterday Mara went to her boss's to take care of the dogs again. And when she got back, she realized that her back plate was stolen. So we called the UD cops, because we saw it had to have happened in the parking lot. There were so many car with their license plate missing, or their back windshield wiper broken off, or their antenna broken off. So she filed a report with the UD cops so that if someone actually stole it and tried to use it in a crime. It was fun talking with the UD cops that came to take her report. Of which we initially called the non emergency Dayton cops, then called the UD cops...neither of which Mara had in her phone. So i gave it to her and waited with her and such. She just has to move her front plate to the back so she has a lower probability of being pulled over.
shit-well, not only did we talk shit, we talked about shit. haha.... fun times. :)
well, I'll post about booze and sex another time. maybe ;) we shall see what happens!!!!

Hump Day!!
Hurray! I made it halfway thru the first week!!!
:D
It's going quite nicely I should say. I am making friends, kinda. I think I am. i hope so. :)
One of the girls was saying people have already decided on their groups for a project that we won't have until the end of the semester. Which I think is a little silly. But what do I know? So Tiesha suggested maybe seeing if Danielle (a girl i have all my classes with) was available. this is just so early.... But I can see why.
but thats just kinda stressful. Whatever.
But the majority of the kids in my Thermo class are all in my transport class. Which is kind of cool. :)
Then Danielle is also in my physics class. So yay! I know someone!
well. This is all for now. :) I will probably post at least once more, if not twice. yay!
Later gators!

Last Friday Night...
Last Friday night... aka last night... Was my high schools first football game of the season!
I helped my dad get ice from a Hall near our house so that we can ice down the drinks for the band.
He went to the high school to ice the drinks, and I went home. I watched a bit of a movie, and then left shortly after my mother and brother left. Upon arrival, I ended up helping out in the concession booth: installing the brackets into the coke machine, opening candy packets, and moving different stuff. ;0
Once enough people were there, I left because I didn't want to get trapped doing the jobs inside of the booth for the whole game. I wandered around a bit.
Eventually I changed into some jeans instead of wearing my junky short shorts, so i looked more like a real person. The band marched into the field, and went thru the parent parade. It was cute. The parents and family lined up alongside where they would walk and clap and holler when they enter the.. arena?
the game started, going well. I helped out a bit. Talked to some different people.
Half time Rocked. The band sounded amazing. per usual. :)
I eventually tried to explain to my uncle this meme:

I mean, this is referencing the lion king. Clearly. Who doesn't know that?!?
But Trying to explain it to my Uncle Dave.... I felt like this:
He just didn't understand.... it was so annoying!!!
Then I went home after the game and watched a couple movies. chilled out. Half slept a long while. So. That was funnish. :)

Haircut?!?!?
So I've been talking about trimming my bangs again. I've done it twice before. But I've been procrastinating for about a week now in actually doing the deed.
Last Night I finally did it! :)
Once I was almost done, I looked down at the sink (I cut them over it so there's an easier clean up,) and this is what I saw:

I know it probably doesn't look that impressive to you, and the lighting is poor, but first thing that popped into my head is, Whoa! I did not just cut off that much hair!
But it was. And my bangs look pretty ok. :)

Celebrating the America's Independence
At the beginning of this month, 'Murca celebrated its Independence Day! :) aka the Fourth of July.
My celebration began even before the month did! haha...
The 30th of June, we had our family party. Which was very well attended, over 100 people.
There were some fun times to be had, like volleyball. And some times that were fun to make fun of. Like my 40+ year old cousin drinking so much and then vomming. Which was mildly hilarious, I thought. But life goes on. :)
Sunday was a pretty chill day, Just hung out and cleaned up Then Later in the day, Cassidy and I ended up going to a shopping center that was having a celebration for the Fourth of July where the Cleveland Pops were playing!
While trying to figure out where to sit, we saw a line of people going into this fenced off area with a bunch of chairs inside of it. we thought it was first come first serve. After having waited a bit, we finally got to the front of the line... where they asked for our bracelets. Which we didn't have one. womp. But they but us off to the side, because there would be plenty of chairs left over after all the bracelet people got in. Once the front half was full, we were led around and entered to the seating area behind the stage, where we got an awesome behind the stage look at the orchestra.

haha... But it was cool watching everyone play in the percussion section. :)
oh! the reason they were passing out bracelets is because they had a goal along with everyone enjoying the Pop's........ they wanted to break the world record of most people wearing sunglasses at night! So we got a pair of sunglasses.

During all these songs you can sing along with ( you know those different partiotic ones) And wore them while we sang. For 10 minutes. Ending with God Bless America. So we wore them the whole time
But During the time they played, they recognized the different people who have served, or are serving, in what I thought was a clever manner. They had a melody where they played each of the branches song, (Navy - Anchors Aweigh; Air Force - Army Air Corps; Marine - The Marines' Hymn; Coast Guard - Semper Paratus; Army - The Army Goes Rolling Along) and had the people of each branch stand as their song was played. Ironically, the guy next to me was in the Air Force, and he had this awesome shirt on. It said all over the back, Who is John Galt?
I was so stoked. It was so amazing.
For those of you don't know, its a quote from one of my favorite books, Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand.
But yes, the Orchestra was so amazing to listen to. I loved listening to them.
Afterwards, when they were shooting off fireworks, it was amazing. They were literally being shot over our heads. So all the cardboard packaging rained down upon us, and Cassidy caught a Piece!
This is Cassidy with her piece of Firework she caught!
It was so amazing! And they had music playing along with the fireworks, so that just made it so much more fun to sing along with.
On The actual fourth of July, I had made cupcakes out of funfetti mix and frosted them. We brought the two boxes of cupcakes into the hospital and shared them between the 3rd and 4th floor nurses. They really enjoyed them. We hung out with my dad there for a long while, then left at like 730 and went home. My mom stayed and watched fireworks with my dad and some nurses from an empty hospital room on the other side of the floor. She had fun. My brother, Jack, didn't want to go see them in our hometown. I ended up going and finding Emma who was working a concession booth in the local park where the Fireworks were being held. Employees are not allowed to be in the building while the fireworks were being set off. So it worked out I had brought my blanket with me. Emma and her co-worker ended up sitting with me and my blanket, finally relaxing after having to work all night with all those firework-watching people.
The fireworks were set off nicely, it was fun to watch. Then I ended up going home afterwards.
Overall it was fun times.
:)

I Won!
I have been reading a lot of blogs lately, and just thinking about what I want this blog to be. I have looked at a lot of blogs. I think in the past week I have doubled the blogs I have followed.
There are some people that I really like to follow. Like Melissa at 20 Going on 80. She has a lot of fun things to do, and you feel like you can really relate to her.
She has a lot of giveaways. One of which I actually commented on the post, which was how you entered that raffle. And I ended up winning! I kept rereading this post, not believing what I was seeing!
So I won one of the cards mentioned in this post, and went to the etsy (et-see, not eat-see), and mentioned that this card was the one I liked the most.
And I won! Thank you once again Melissa for choosing me! :)
